Skeptics in the Park

Hi all our wonderful CFI members and allies!

Due to the huge amount of construction that is happening at our usual location of Beaver Lake, we will be meeting at LaFontaine Park. Please see the map below, the best way to get there is on the 24 bus on Sherbrooke Street side of the park, near Panet or Plessis, go into the park and walk a little way up Calixa Lavalee. Then take the path that goes diagonally north a little way and you will see the picnic tables. Look for the red flag.

*Please, do forgive me for not having included a map.

The irony behind our evolution in becoming humans is that all of it started by an impact of an asteroid 65.5 million years ago. The impact killed the giant dinosaurs and giving a chance to our early ancestors to evolve to what we are now. So when we see small animals or insects around us imagine the next asteroid impact, they might become the next dominant race.

Oh :( I regrettably could not attend. An employment related issue took hold of me. I do hope that everyone that was able to attend managed to make a handful of new friends and that you were able to share in your valued and valuable thoughts and of much, much more.
