Ziblatt is co-author of the influential and bestselling books How Democracies Die ("the most important book of the Trump era"— The Economist) and Tyranny of the Minority, co-authored with Steven Levitsky, among other important books. Ziblatt is Eaton Professor of Government at Harvard University and director of its Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies; he also leads a research group on democracy and its erosion at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center in Germany.
