Nerd TV brings the CFI community together for an evening of drinks and - well - nerdy television. A la "Science Fiction Theater," come ready to watch, critique, debate, shout at the screen and generally nerd-out over your favorite episodes of Twilight Zone, Doctor Who, Firefly, and many more!

Since the time of silent film, some masterpieces of the cinematographic art have been produced. They inspire, they motivate, they make us laugh and sometimes cry.

Then, there are the duds. Movies so terrible they enter a hall of fame all their own. Plots more full of holes than a cheese grater, acting more appropriate to a grade school play than a feature film and special effects so bad they’re good.

Come prepared to eat, drink, laugh and talk among friends during the movie (it’s encouraged!).

This film from 1964 is the original "The Martian," and it was claimed to be "Scientifically Authentic." We'll have all kinds of fun with this one.

Notes: Everyone is welcome to attend. You don't have to have ever been to any other Sunday Assembly or Center For Inquiry events to participate. Also, while there is no admission fee, everyone is asked to order food or drinks to make it worthwhile for Stone Creek. See you there!
