Please join us on Saturday, December 9th as we work with Keep Orlando Beautiful and Surfrider to help clean Lake Ivanhoe!

We will be launching from the dock at Gaston Edwards Park, 1236 N. Orange Avenue, on the southeast side of the lake. We will have at least six kayaks available on a first to arrive, first to launch basis.

There is plenty of green space around the lake and shoreline volunteers are integral to grabbing the trash before it has a chance to migrate into Lake Ivanhoe.

We have plenty of grabbers and buckets to share for shoreline volunteers. If you have your own watercraft, please feel free to bring it. And if you have a spare five-gallon bucket in the garage, bring your own bucket (BYOB)!

Restrooms are NOT available at this spot and sometimes the parking lot fills up quick. There is additional parking off of Alden Road at 1155 Alden Road, Orlando, FL 32803.

PLEASE bring water, sun protection and snacks. This lake does not have much cover from the sun and it can get quite hot out on the water. After we come back in, we will bag up and weigh our trash haul. Please stick around for the post-event photo.

Hope to see you at Lake Ivanhoe!!!
