Spring Break 2026 Beach Cleanup 🏄‍♂️

🌸 Spring Break 2026 Cleanup. You are invited to join Central Florida Recon (CFR) as we partner with our friends from Keep New Smyrna Beach (NSB) Clean in Volusia County. No kayaks for this cleanup; this will be a walking cleanup. We have a supply of trash grabbers and buckets to share. Feel free to bring your own bucket and grabber if you have them.

You will be asked to sign a Cleanup Event Sign in and Indemnity Waiver upon arrival.

We will meet at Esther Street Park, 551 Esther Street, NSB, FL 32169. Due to Spring Break crowds, parking may be limited, carpooling is encouraged. Parking is free from 8 am to 9 am. If we extend the cleanup and stay beyond 9 am, please be prepared to pay for parking. If parking at Esther Street Park is full, park at Grayce Kenemer Barck North Beach Community Park, 1100 N. Atlantic Avenue, NSB, FL 32169.

At the end of the cleanup, we will combine all our trash, weigh it and take a group photo. After the cleanup we plan to head to a local restaurant for breakfast/brunch.

If rain or freezing temperatures are in the forecast for the day of the beach cleanup, check on Saturday night for event updates.

Bring a hat 👒 sunglasses 🕶 sunscreen, and water to keep hydrated. We hope you can join us!
