Trivia but not trivial – globally, about 92 million tons of textile waste is produced each year
🗓️ Mark your calendar and join us for a Mend & Swap Repair Café. Bring in clothing to swap and stick around for a repair session where skilled volunteers will help you mend, sew and show you how to make future repairs. This initiative not only saves money but also reduces waste and fosters a sense of community.
🛍️ Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) and fill it. Exchange items you no longer need for something new-to-you. It's a great way to declutter, find new treasures, and contribute to a circular economy.
👉Swap shop will take place in the Ballroom.
👉Repair Café will take place in the Urbino Room.
👕 Guidelines 👖
- Each participant can bring a maximum of one container of clothes (approx. 20 items)
- All clothing must be clean/washed
- Clothing should be folded neatly and brought in boxes. Trash bags will not be accepted.

Session 2 – 2 – 2:30 pm: Sewing on a button
Session 3 – 3 - 3:30 pm: Stitching up holes
