Waste Diversion ♻️ Volunteers Needed

This Saturday 📢 volunteers needed to help with a single-use campaign sign waste diversion collection. ♻️

What does that mean? The campaign signs you have seen at your polling place, some of them will be used just once. This collection event offers residents a waste diversion opportunity to drop off their campaign signs and metal frames to be diverted from the landfill and be recycled. ♻️

Some volunteers will be asked to direct traffic entering the complex and some volunteers will be asked to help collect signs being dropped off along with the metal frames.

👉 You do not have to volunteer all four hours, you can show up for just a few hours.

🌳We will be outside in the parking lot but will stay in the shade as seen in the event photo. Please be aware we will not have access to a public restroom but there is a porta-potty on site.

What to bring: a foldable chair (if you have one), a reusable bottle full of water, snacks and sunglasses 😎.
