CGR Fall Colors
Circle K, 1415 E Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122, Casa Grande, AZ, USJoin CGR for a 3-day, 2-night journey through the heart of Arizona, timed perfectly to catch the fleeting magic of fall. For just 2–3 weeks—from mid-October to the first week of November—Oak Creek Canyon north of Sedona explodes with fiery reds, flaming oranges, and golden yellows, creating some of the most vibrant foliage in northern Arizona.
We’ll wind our way through the mosaic canyon, stopping at the Oak Creek Vista overlook for a breathtaking view of the canyon below. From there, we continue into Flagstaff for our first night’s stay.Day 2: Flagstaff to Pinetop-Lakeside
The next morning, after breakfast, we head southwest through the largest standing ponderosa pine forest on Earth, eventually arriving in Pinetop-Lakeside for our second night. Dinner will be at the beloved Pasta House, a cozy end to a full day on the road.Day 3: Pinetop-Lakeside to Casa Grande
We conclude our loop through the White River Reservation and the dramatic curves of Salt River Canyon, finishing with the twisty roads through the historic mining towns of Miami and Superior—one last dose of Arizona character before returning home.- Meet @ Circle K acroos the Lowes at 8:00am

Southern Desert & Mining Loop
Circle K, 1415 E Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122, Casa Grande, AZ, USJoin CGR on this 4-day, 3-night motorcycle trip loop that takes us through the heart of the historic Southwest, showcasing post-monsoon green high deserts, winding mountain passes, and legendary mining towns such; Bisbee, Clifton, Morenci and Kingston, NM. Also, don't forget, you get to enjoy my company!!
Day 1: Casa Grade, AZ to Bisbee, AZ
Head southeast toward Sonoita via Arizona State Route 83 (Sonoita Desert Scenic Byway). Taking our time cruising through the rolling, grass-covered rolling hills and vineyards, which will be lush and vibrant green from the monsoon rains. We will continue south through Sierra Vista before climbing up into the Mule Mountains to Bisbee. Just in time to wander the narrow, terraced streets, check out the historic brick architecture, check-in to our hotel and grab dinner at one of the local spots like Cafe Roka or the Bisbee Grand Hotel saloon.Day 2: Bisbee, AZ to Kingston, NM
Depart Bisbee after a hearty breakfast, taking a quick jaunt onto I-10 East toward New Mexico. Head north past Lordsburg and Silver City, eventually climbing up into the rugged Black Range via New Mexico Highway 152.
Driving over Emory Pass at roughly 8,228 feet (one of the highest paved passes in southern NM), offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Gila National Forest before descending into the quiet ghost town of Kingston. Where we will stay for our second night at the
historic lodging in or near Kingston (such as the Black Range Lodge).Day 3: Kingston, NM to Clifton, AZ
Leaving Kingston and retrace our path back down NM-152, connecting back to Silver City. From there, head west across the Arizona border through Duncan, and follow the scenic route down into Clifton. As we drop into the San Francisco River canyon to explore some of Clifton's historic sites such as: The Cliff Jail, Chase Creek Street, The Copperhead Locomotive and Greenlee Historical Museum. Also, located just a few minutes north of Clifton is the Morenci mine. This massive operation is North America's largest open-pit copper mine. The Morenci and Bagdad mines (also in Arizona) rank among the largest open-pit copper mines worldwide.- Meeting @8:00am, Circle K across from Lowe's.
