Board our coach for the option of choice of 3 walks or do your own walk or spend the day in Holmfirth . Coach returns at at 6.00pm from from Holme for the A party then to Holmfirth to pick up the remaining B and C parties plus any members that chose to spend the day round Holmfirth . cost £15.00.

There is an option on this walk for you to spend the day in Holmfirth maybe do a short walk or walk round Holmfirth where there are cafes and pubs and interesting shops to wonder round before catching the Coach at 6-pm to return home .

A;Walk ( Harder ) Chew Reservoir and Black Hill
Greenfield to Holme

For this walk we visit the NE edge of the Peak District .
From Greenfield St .|Mary we ascend to take tracks and paths above scenic Dovestone Reservoir to cross Chew Beck & up to Chew reservoir .Here the geography changes as we cross Laddow Moss to Laddow Rocks with views down Torside resewrvoir and Bleaklow . We turn north on the Pennine Way up to Black Hill. It's now down to cross issue Clough .Ignoring the track we head for and cross Marsden Clough . We follow Nether Lane past the lodge before dropping down to direct Blueberry & Digley' Field paths now take us to the delightful village of Holme with 1 great pub .
