Train at 09-46 from Bradford Forster Squire to Menston Station .
Walk starts at 10-15 from Menston Station.
Distance aprox 6 miles / Linear walk
Ascent 900 ft
Walk will start at Menston Station at 10.15 am .From Menston Station we follow The Dales Way to Burley Woodhead then climb to the top of Burley Moor , then over the moor to the 12 Apostles and down to Ilkley where there are plenty of cafes and pubs to relax for those that wish before continuing your journey home .
We may also be able to provide a lower level walk between the same two points for anyone not wanting to do the uphill but that will depend on a second leader being available .

NB It is very important that correct clothing is worn or carried on our walks, including waterproofs, woolly hats or sunhats, warm gloves and sturdy hiking boots, as we often walk on rough terrain. The walk leaders have the right to refuse to allow anybody not properly equipped to join the walk. Please come prepared. You will need a packed lunch and enough fluids, and you may need sun cream and insect repellent.
