Navigating ADHD Care in the Age of Telemedicine: Challenges and Opportunities

Description:
The COVID-19 pandemic opened up a world of opportunity for assessing, diagnosing and treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder through telemedicine. But while opening that door increased access for people who need it, it also brought an increased level of responsibility for the teams of mental health professionals providing that care. Pair that with the ever-changing landscape of regulatory compliance from the DEA -- combined with the ongoing Adderall shortage -- and we'll look back at the last three years as the catalyst for change the healthcare industry needed in addressing how mental health is diagnosed and treated. We'll explore the magnitude of the last few years, look at how the conversation around ADHD is changing and dive into what it means to treat the whole person -- and how you can do that safely and successfully through telemedicine.
