What we’re about

Welcome to the ADHD Empowerment community hosted by Children & Adults with ADHD (CHADD) of Greater Los Angeles, serving Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and Conejo Valley. We are an award-winning nonprofit working to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by ADHD. Our founding mission was to bring together the local ADHD community in the Los Angeles area and help those within it to live better. However, since the pandemic, our in-person programs and events have moved online. So we're happy to welcome people from all over the world to take part in our peer support groups and evidence-based ADHD education programs.

We welcome all who are impacted by ADHD -- adults and teens with ADHD, parents and loved ones of individuals with ADHD, and those who professionally support individuals living with ADHD such as childcare professionals, teachers, educators, coaches, therapists, and clinicians.

Our meetings are free to current dues-paying CHADD chapter members. We kindly request a $5 - $10 donation from those non-members who are financially able. Non-members are ALWAYS welcome at our events!

CHADD of Greater Los Angeles was awarded 2019 and 2022 CHADD Affiliate of the Year at the International Conference on ADHD - hosted by ADDA, CHADD, and ACO - for our work bringing ADHD support programs and information to the local community. For more information visit CHADDLA.org.
