The Rise and Fall of DORA Metrics

Have you adopted the four DORA metrics of change lead time, deployment frequency, mean-time-to-restore (MTTR), and change failure rate? Are you using these to prompt behavior change within your teams?

Let's talk about what these measures are, how they are being used (and misused) in the industry, and where research is headed (hint- Developer Experience & Flow metrics). The DORA metrics are useful, but not in the ways that many leaders think they are. I'll also cover how to correctly leverage DORA metrics.
