What we’re about
Chai and Chit Chat (C3) is more than a community—it’s a movement of connection, celebration, and empowerment for Desi women in North Dallas and beyond. Founded in 2021 by the visionary Mercy Strickland, C3 began as a simple potluck gathering and has since blossomed into a thriving 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 6,000 members and nearly 70 subgroups.
At C3, we believe in the power of shared experiences and collective growth. Guided by our motto—“Fostering Friendship, Building Community, and Uplifting Together”—we bring together women from diverse backgrounds to share their passions, navigate challenges, and celebrate life’s milestones.
What We Offer
C3 is a welcoming space where women can:

Explore interests through dedicated subgroups, including cooking, fitness, travel, crafts, social work, dance, and karaoke, etc.
