Choose to move with Karen! Chair Yoga uses gentle movements for anyone who prefers to not get on the floor with standard yoga. It reduces strain on limbs and joints but still promotes moving the entire body. You are led through poses, instructed on breathing techniques, and some mindfulness meditation. This energetic practice promotes stability and flexibility, provides self-awareness, and promotes general wellbeing. All poses are done in the chair or standing with support of the chair.
Karen is a Registered Nurse, with thirty-three years of experience, as well as a Certified Chair Yoga Instructor, Meditation Instructor and Health Coach. Chair Yoga is clinically proven to increase the strength of our muscles, help us have less pain and better posture, and promote balance. Karen's classes are full of energy, props, music, and fun!
