Chalk Scribblers meet the publisher: Neil Clarke

Neil Clarke is one of the leading short fiction editors around. He’s best known as the editor of Clarkesworld, which he launched in 2006 and has built into one of the leading science fiction and fantasy short fiction publications. He also operates Wyrm Publishing which has published novels by genre luminaries like Gene Wolfe and Charles Stross as well as the reprint magazine Forever. Since 2016, Wyrm has been publishing the Best Science Fiction of the Year anthology series.

Neil has won three Hugo Awards in the Best Editor Short Form category and every year, Clarkesworld stories turn up on at least the shortlist for every award for which it’s worth being shortlisted.
