Details

A novel’s structure is its skeleton. It gives the novel its shape, but it’s hard to see because it lies beneath the muscles of character, the skin of prose and all the other organs and tissues of storytelling.

In this workshop, four scribblers will be dissecting four novels so we can learn from those structures. We’ll open with each person speaking briefly about the structure and then go to a more general moderated discussion.

Some of the novels up for discussion have adult themes that may be explored in the discussion.
