Katie Seaman spent ten years working in the upper echelons of the publishing industry, starting as an editorial assistant ay the Orion Publishing group, during which time she won the London Book Fair Trailblazer Award. Since then, she’s worked as an editor at Penguin Random House and an acquisition editor at HarperCollins UK. In 2023, she launched her own business as a freelance editor and book coach so she could spend more time working directly with writers to hone their craft and support their journey to publication.
She’ll be sharing the inside scoop on what makes a manuscript stand out, how the publishing process works and tips to help your own writing.
