
What we’re about
I would like to create a group in which people can speak about the challenges they had, and how it affected them (or how they dealt with them). This is to give people an opportunity to give voice in a group. They should not mention names or other identity markers of others, but rather talk about themselves. I would like this to be therapeutic: non-judgmental, and at a public place (no phones etc please) - even outdoors. There is no format for how people will speak - it is up to them. They can even read from prepared notes. The group's goal is for individuals to feel better - helping them let go, or cope. It is not necessary to say that a challenge has been mastered. People also do not need to identify themselves by name if they don't want to. They can speak to one or several challenges - perhaps in the past at first, then about the now or future.
