Accelerating DeFi Applications with Jongwon Park

This month we will be joined by Jongwon Park, a Computer Science student at the University of Illinois who is developing novel DeFi Applications for blockchain environments. Jongwon has just returned from a Startup Accelerator sponsored by Jump Trading and Polygon, he will share his experiences on building and plans for the project he is working on: Blockhouse Capital.

Blockhouse Capital is building an institutional DeFi exchange for trading bonds and credit derivatives. The protocol’s KYC'd private credit marketplace with on-chain settlement via Uniswap V3 AMM allows financial firms to transact and trade credit at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional venues. Blockhouse is currently partnered with institutional asset managers, private equity firms, and real estate investment trusts to tokenize debt pipelines on-chain.
