Champaign-Urbana Young Adult Ministry

For our Bible discussion we meet at 7pm at one of our members houses. As far as structure, we eat and fellowship, then have a discussion/lesson, followed by prayer. That usually wraps up our night but you're more than welcome to continue fellowshipping. Currently, our congregation is going through a series called Thread. Thread is a structured, yet flexible, weekly framework that aligns our Sunday sermons with daily devotionals, small group discussions, family devotionals, leadership training, and even a full kids’ curriculum. This creates a cohesive spiritual journey for the entire church, and more - each family unit! This week we will be talking about why there is story in the Bible, the transformative power of storytelling, and its profound connection to spirituality and faith.

We have a worship service every Sunday starting at 10:30 AM but feel free to arrive at 9:45 AM for coffee and fellowship! We also have Sunday School for kids and a nursery for toddlers. We start out with worship then communion followed by a sermon. We're done by 11:30 AM and our group usually fellowships for lunch at one of CU's many restaurants or at a church members home.
