We are currently in a spiritual journey called Practicing the Way. Our culture often is distracted, fragmented, and hurried. Many of us are simply too busy and exhausted to have a meaningful life with God. We need what Dallas Willard called a “curriculum for Christlikeness” – a clear path to being formed by Jesus in the modern era, rather than being counter-formed by a culture that skims near the surface. Practicing the Way is a way of life and community established to help people learn how to be with Jesus, become like him, and do as he did. This community strives to integrate the practices and rhythms of Jesus and his earliest followers, creating space for the Holy Spirit to form people of depth and love. Practices include Fasting, Prayer, Silence and Solitude, Generosity among several others. We are currently Practicing Silence and Solitude and each practice comes with four session videos, weekly exercises and readings, and additional resources to help our group create life-changing daily rhythms as we apprentice under Jesus together.
