Monday Night Tennis! (Corona del Sol)

VENUE (Please Read):

Monday Night Tennis! at Corona del Sol starts at 6:00 PM as we would like to secure two North courts early.

The RSVP limit is 12 players. Those on the waitlist may arrive at any time, but may prefer to arrive at 7:30 PM when earlier players depart.

Corona del Sol resurfaced all 8 courts and put in new nets. The courts have now re-opened for public use.

Meanwhile, I am looking for good alternative venues at 4-court parks and other high schools. I am also working with local tennis centers like Scottsdale Ranch, Mesa Tennis Center, Chandler Tumbleweed Tennis Center, and Gilbert Regional Park to host quarterly USTA sanctioned events,

Answers to FAQ's (frequently asked questions may be answered here):

1. Finding our group is easy. Everyone is friendly and will let you know if they are with Chandler Tennis Meetup.
2. Expect low to mid intermediate level tennis (NTRP 2.5-3.5) and, occasionally, players at higher levels.
3. Beginners are welcome. Please let fellow participants know your level so everyone can have a great player experience.
4. Set play includes no faults on the first serve to the deuce court ('first ball in').
5. If players are waiting, we play short 4-game no-ad sets with a 7-point tiebreak.
6. Instruction outside of the Meetup is encouraged. USTA sanctioned individual instruction is best, followed by small group coaching and personal video analysis via social media such as https://2minutetennis.net/.

Health Precautions. Do not play if you:

• are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus: mild to severe
  respiratory illness with fever, cough, or difficulty breathing.
• have been in contact with someone in quarantine for COVID-19 or other contagions.
