Drop-In Board Game Designer Night @ The Black Pony in East End Toronto

Hello and welcome to Changeling Gaming! Together with The Black Pony, we invite you to join us for a fun night of testing out interesting new board games in the process of being designed. Bring your own design and we'll do our best to ensure everyone gets their turn on the table!

Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of board games, everyone has useful feedback to provide. Test out new games, challenge your friends, and make new connections with fellow board game lovers along the way. Come as a group or solo and we can help pair you with a community table. Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to meet new people.

Pay-what-you-can: For this Changeling Gaming gathering, there are no tickets being sold. Instead, we kindly ask folks to pay what they can to help us organize these events when they come or by giving us a tip on Ko-fi or by becoming a Changeling Member.

• To support the venue and its servers, there will be an 18% auto gratuity for any menu purchases.

- SCHEDULE -

• 6:00 PM // Doors open for board games
• 6:15 PM - 9:45 PM // Open board game testing. Thanks to the generosity of The Black Pony we will have the whole back room to dine in for the night and test out our new board games!
• 9:45 PM - 10:00 PM // Hosted portion ends, the venue is open until 11:00 for those who want to stay a bit longer.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -

Food & Drink:

• There is no minimum for this event, but supporting our hosts is encouraged.
• The Black Pony has a full menu, including food, as well as non-alcoholic drinks, and a full bar.

Parking:

• Limited street parking is available.

Transit:

• The Black Pony located on the 506 streetcar line, a short bus ride south from Coxwell subway station, or about a 20 minute walk from that station.

Accessibility:

• The Black Pony is fully accessible.

Washrooms:

• There are gender-inclusive, wheelchair-accessible washrooms available on the same floor as our gaming space.
