Volunteer at Celebration of the Whales

Volunteers are wanted at the 26th Annual Celebration of the Whales Festival in Channel Islands Harbor. **R.S.V.P. or questions to Sobrien@cimmvc.org** This fun, free annual event has become a Harbor tradition, with plenty of activities scheduled throughout the day. The Channel Islands Maritime Museum is hosting the free family-friendly outdoor waterside festival that will include interactive educational booths about whales, local sea life and their environment, lots of craft activities and free prizes. There will be food trucks, chalk drawing and everything Whales! The Museum needs volunteers to work in the Whalecome booth, children's craft activities and whale learning centers. 2 hour shifts available - 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. - 3 p.m. A great opportunity to spend a few hours in the picturesque setting of Channel Islands Harbor while contributing to a community event.
