Hello, welcome to this group! We invite you to our small-group chanting meditation sessions. The events will recur on a monthly basis, as much as possible.
The goal is simple. Spend 20 minutes chanting, fully present and connected, as a form of meditation. Chanting will be led by a group member and the rest of us will follow. Each month a new chant will be selected. There will be a 5 minute warm up - seated or standing stretches before chanting to prepare the body for meditation. The sessions will be hosted in group member's home. Chanting session will be followed by a 20 min socializing, with tea and light snacks.
Please join or ask a question if you feel the pull or curiosity ๐Ÿ™. We are all beginners and novices here, this will be a safe space, and the success of each session will be our collective contribution ๐Ÿ™‚.The group is not intended to be religious but please note the chants and mantras will be mostly based on teachings in Hinduism (Vedic/ Sanatan Dharma) and/or Buddhism.
