Hello, welcome to this group! We invite you to our small-group chanting meditation sessions. The events will recur on a monthly basis, as much as possible.
The goal is simple. Spend 20 minutes chanting, fully present and connected, as a form of meditation. Chanting will be led by a group member and the rest of us will follow. Each month a new chant will be selected. There will be a 5 minute warm up - seated or standing stretches before chanting to prepare the body for meditation. The sessions will be hosted in group member's home. Chanting session will be followed by a 20 min socializing, with tea and light snacks.
Please join or ask a question if you feel the pull or curiosity ๐. We are all beginners and novices here, this will be a safe space, and the success of each session will be our collective contribution ๐.The group is not intended to be religious but please note the chants and mantras will be mostly based on teachings in Hinduism (Vedic/ Sanatan Dharma) and/or Buddhism.
