Live Music: The Circle Social: Folk & Fairytales.
Details
Fancy a relaxed Friday night of live music with friendly people? Join us at Chapel Allerton Arts Centre for The Circle Social, a monthly evening of live music in our gallery and cafe bar. This month is all about folk, fairytales and storytelling songs, just right for an autumn night.
This event is organised by the team at "The Circle Social" who we are thrilled hold their events at the Chapel Allerton Arts Centre.
Who is playing
Lilian: a Yorkshire singer and storyteller of traditional folk and fairytales, with a haunting voice, concertina drones and songs where everyday life meets the supernatural. Their debut album is Pareidolia.
Behla Hutchinson: a Bradford singer songwriter with an acoustic guitar and her own songs, who has been playing around the Bradford and Shipley music scene. Look up To The Sea on Spotify.
Miriam Merridew: indie folk with a fairytale streak from a singer songwriter who is also a painter and mural artist.

It is a chilled, sociable night and you are very welcome to come on your own. If you are new to the area or just fancy meeting some new faces, this is a lovely way to do it. Grab a drink at the bar, find a seat and enjoy the music.
