Looking for a relaxed Friday night out where it’s easy to meet people? Come along to the excellent Open Decks DJ and dancing event at Chapel Allerton Arts Centre.

Ten local DJs take turns on the decks through the evening, each playing a 25 minute set of dance and electronic music, house, disco, funk, soul and hip hop.

You don’t need to know anything about DJing to come along. Most people come to listen, have a drink at the bar and chat.

It’s a great night to come along on your own. The crowd is friendly and mixed, the DJs love having people there to play to, and the music gives everyone something to talk about. Brendan from Open Decks North and Simon from Chapel Allerton Art Centre and the team be there to say hello when you arrive.

What to expect:

  • Free entry, no ticket needed
  • Bar open all night until 11pm
  • A new DJ every half hour from 6.45pm
  • Come for an hour or stay till 11pm
