Mother Nature completely snowed out the month of January, but I’m feeling optimistic about this month—even with the groundhog calling for six more weeks of wintry weather.

Being somewhat lazy, I’m going to cut and paste what I had last time =). * PLEASE NOTE, we are trying out the Raleigh location*

Every journey begins with a single step… and every meetup starts with a first event. Turnout is always hard to gauge, so I wanted a venue that was free, had parking options, and offered flexibility when it comes to food and drink.
I landed on PRESS:

The event itself will be a mix of icebreakers to get everyone chatting, plus some light social games. The headline game will be Poetry for Neanderthals—a simple, fun option that works great for small groups. I’ll bring a few other games as well.

I’ll arrive early and set up somewhere in the shop with a placard marking the table I’m claiming. We won’t have an official reservation since I’m not sure what turnout will look like for these first couple of events, but I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hope to see you next Sunday (Feb 15th)!
Stay warm and stay safe! ❄️☕
