Chapters & Chitchat:The BYOB Edition! 📚🥂

No assigned reading. No homework. No stress. Just bring whatever book you are currently obsessing over (or trying to finish!) and come ready to talk about it. Whether it's a romance, a thriller, a memoir, or self-help..we want to hear about it. Come grab a drink, get some new book recommendations for your TBR list, and catch up with the sisters!

📚🥂 Chapters & Chitchat: A Casual Book Club for Black Women

About Our Group

Welcome to the ultimate low-pressure space for Black women who love a good story and even better company!
Let’s be honest: life is busy, and reading shouldn't feel like a high school English homework assignment. Chapters & Chitchat was created to bring Black women together to connect, unwind, and talk books in a completely casual, social setting. Whether you’re an avid reader, trying to get back into a reading routine, or just looking to make new friends in the area, you have a seat at our table.

✨ The Vibe

Think of our meetups as a curated girls' night out (or a cozy Sunday brunch). We keep things 100% stress-free:

The 50/50 Rule: Every meetup is split down the middle. Half the time is for Chitchat (catching up on life, venting, laughing, and sharing updates) and the other half is for Chapters (diving into your personal monthly pick).

The "Didn't Finish" Grace Card: Life happens! If you didn’t finish the book or even if you only read chapter one you are still absolutely welcome to pull up for the snacks and the chitchat. No judgment here.

📖 What We Read

We primarily focus on fiction, compelling memoirs, and buzzy contemporary releases by Black authors. We love books with plenty of drama, relatable characters, and themes that spark great conversation.

🥂 Who Should Join?

If you are Black woman, love community, and want to build genuine sisterhood over great stories, this is your crew.

🛋️ Wear your comfy clothes, bring your current read…We can't wait to meet you!

Ciao,
