Charged: Pride in Tech Panel 🌈

Belfast Pride is fast approaching and at Charged we feel was about time we highlighted Pride in Tech! On 29th July at Ormeau Baths, Charged will be hosting a panel made up of LGBTQ+ folk in our local tech community to discuss:

• Being LGBTQ+ in a predominantly straight and cis industry
• Personal experiences with being open in work/tech community
• What improvements could be made and advice to companies/organisations
• Much more

This event is open to all LGBTQ+ folk and allies in the local tech community. We want this event to be a safe space for everyone regardless of how "out" you are so we have put a few measures in place:

• No face photography/videography
• Our panel will not be announced publicly without their consent
• Gender neutral bathroom
• Pronoun stickers will be provided

We want this event to reach as many LGBTQ+ people as possible so please spread the word!
