🔷 Reimplementing React: Fundamentals and Abstractions
by Krisztian Ferencz
Why React? Why not Angular, Vue, Svelte, Solid, HTMX, or any other framework? We can’t decide for you. But we can expand a bit on what these frameworks do, how they came to be, and what fundamentals we may want to look for, see how real problems are found, and solutions emerge, and we may also get a glimpse into what is yet to come. Let’s explore what happened in 2013, how we may have come up with our own framework, and how we can use curiosity to navigate novel, and difficult problems today.
🔷 Beyond the Browser: Exploring React Server Components
by Daniel Decsi
Shifting beyond its traditional rendering role, React now seamlessly integrates data-fetching and client-server communication through RSCs. Uncover this novel approach that enables efficient server-side rendering, addressing age-old challenges in data acquisition with unprecedented speed. While the benefits are manifold, we'll also explore the risks in this evolving ecosystem, followed by a live demo exploring RCS.
🔷 React Testing: A structured approach to quality
by Robin Csutoras
Elevate your React testing game with a structured approach designed for reliability and code quality. My presentation introduces you to advanced testing techniques and the reasons behind their importance. We will explore the theory first, then dissect unit and component testing methodologies, with a live demo of rewriting small components with structured testing principles.
Our event space under Károly krt. 11 is the perfect place to unwind after work with snacks, drinks, and fun games such as foosball, table tennis, darts, or PS. This is a free event, but registration is required. Don't forget to RSVP and update your response if it changes!
🇬🇧 Please note that this will be an English-speaking event!
📸 We will be taking photos of the event, so if you would prefer not to appear in them, please inform one of the organizers.
