Hi everyone - hope you're having a great start to 2012! I'm part of the Event Committee for this very worthy cause. Reach the World connects public school students with international travelers whose experiences are integrated into the classes' curricula. See below for more info. I hope to see you there, and please don't hesitate to reply with any questions!

The evening will include cocktails, silent auction, live auction, dinner and the presentation of the first-annual Cronkite Award for Excellence in Exploration and Journalism, in honor of former RTW Advisory Board Chairman Walter Cronkite. This year's inaugural award will be presented to Richard Wiese, host of the popular ABC television series "Born to Explore".

TICKETS

$150 for young professionals (35 and under) (this is cheaper than the average price of a 4 hour night out in Manhattan)

Purchase tickets online here: http://rtw.charityhappenings.org

Or I am happy to send you a paper invitation so you can pay via check -- please message me with your address.

Also, if you don't mind messaging me your first and last name after you've purchased, I can try to make sure everyone is sat together at the same table.

ABOUT REACH THE WORLD

Reach the World's mission is to build a pipeline of globally-competent students and educators who will succeed in and steward the 21st Century global community. RTW currently provides global mentoring programs for elementary and middle school students by matching classrooms of disadvantaged youth with global mentors for a semester. Over the next three years, RTW plans to add high school programming, creating an arc of globally-themed mentoring that will reach learners throughout their school careers.
