James Island County Park NEW Fishing Dock

Hey guys! We just wanted to create a meetup event at the new fishing dock in james island county park! Bring your poles and something to snack on. If you don't have a pole, you can purchase a Saltwater rod and reel combo for an affordable price at Walmart or any local bait shop or we have some that you may use as well. We will supply bait! We will also have everything you will need to help you fish the dock (terminal tackle, tape measurer, pliers, etc.)

You can get a license from Walmart or we can help you do it in person online, but SCDNR charges a $3 card fee for doing it online. Everyone must have a fishing license if attending a event.

*County park admission is $1.50 per person
*A basic, resident saltwater fishing license in South Carolina costs $5 for 14 days, $10 for a year, or $30 for three years. A lifetime license is $300. Non-resident prices are $11 for 14 days, $35 per year and $105 for three years.
