2025 Charity Benefactor
The proceeds from this year's ride will benefit Melanin in Motion Girls & Boys Bike Camp. Melanin in Motion (MIM) bike camps encourage youth cycling as a habit of exercise and social activity by creating opportunities for Charlotte area communities of color to engage. The MIM month long program (2-weeks girls, 2-weeks boys) provides a safe, supervised environment for school-aged children. During the youth cycling activities, youth improve their handling of a bicycle through skills and drills, learn to navigate the community safely on a bicycle, and engage with a diverse group of counselors who are an active part of the Charlotte cycling community. Actively immersing camp participants in the cycling community makes bicycling an attainable and sustainable skill.
