We will ride a 16.5 miles "Out and back" route on the greenway, from Bikesource down to President James K. Polk State Historic site and back.
Note this is the same start location as the CAC 730pm Thursday ride. Look for cyclists with CAC jerseys on - the parkling lot is busy at 615pm. After the ride, there are options if you choose to gather for a place to eat.

You are responsible for your guests; please look after them throughout the ride.
It is essential that all riders follow some basic group ride safety procedures:
Pay close attention to the bicycle in front of you
Call out "Slowing" immediately if you use your brakes or the rider in front of you calls "Slowing"
Communicate all road hazards you observe to your fellow riders; "Hole", "Gravel", Glass on ground", etc.
Make sure you check beside you and behind you and communicate to the other riders if you want to move out from behind the bicycle in front of you
Communication with your fellow bikers is the key

WEATHER POLICY: Ride is rain or shine, cancelled if there is a high chance of downpours or thunderstorms. If the ride is cancelled, I will send out a cancellation message to the e-mail address that you registered with on Meetup - so make sure you check that e-mail account before coming. In addition, if the ride is cancelled, I will add a cancellation message in the section below.

NOTES:
• Unpredictable weather, dog incidents, among other risk elements, are factors for which riders assume individual responsibility when signing up for this ride.
• All riders must be willing to stay with the group because we'll be making many turns on our route.
• Restrooms - available at the start and at the Sharon Rd entrance.
• Short stops along the way as needed.
• Please bring plenty of water and snacks if needed.
• Bike helmets are mandatory on all rides; gloves are also recommended.
• Please have some form of ID with you in case of an emergency.
• Ensure your bike is in proper riding condition and your breaks are checked.
• Please bring with you an appropriate-sized spare tube for your bicycle. I carry tube-changing equipment and an air pump.
