Charlotte's Argentine Tango Meetup group is hosted by Tango CLT! We dance authentic social Argentine tango as it is currently being danced in the milongas of Buenos Aires, tango's birthplace.
Tango instructors Sarah Harkins & Matthew Seneca host a weekly social tango event called Tango Thursdays every Thursday evening. We welcome all newcomers - no partner or experience is required!

About Tango Thursdays:
First and third Thursdays, we are at The Giddy Goat Coffee Roasters in Plaza Midwood.
Second, fourth, and fifth Thursdays, we are at The Market at 7th Street in Uptown.
Cost is only $15 and includes an intro lesson, two hours of social dancing and free hors d'oeuvres!
7 PM - 8 PM - Intro to Tango Lesson - You don't need to have ever danced before - we will get you dancing tango in one hour!
8 PM - 10:15 PM - Social Dancing! - Included in your admission is free hors d'oeuvres. There is also a full bar at each location, and more food is available for purchase as well.
In addition to Tango Thursdays described above, we offer drop-in beginner and intermediate classes on Tuesday evenings to help you progress in your tango journey. The beginner series goes from 6:30 - 7:30 PM. Check the website for the most up-to-date descriptions and location, as we are in the process of moving our studio. But the classes will remain constant!
