Charlotte Argentine Tango Meetup Group

Charlotte's Argentine Tango Meetup group is hosted by Tango CLT! We dance authentic social Argentine tango as it is currently danced in the milongas of Buenos Aires, tango's birthplace.

Tango instructors Sarah Harkins & Matthew Seneca host a weekly social tango event called Tango Wednesday every Wednesday evening at our beautiful venue, The Long Room, in Plaza Midwood. We welcome all newcomers - no partner or experience is required!

Cost is only $20 and includes an intro lesson, two hours of social dancing, and snacks!

7 PM - 7:45 PM - Intro to Tango Lesson - You don't need to have ever danced before, and no partner is required. Smooth-soled shoes are suggested. We will get you dancing tango in one hour!

7:45 - 8:30 PM - Beginner/Intermediate Lesson - This is a more progressed lesson that assumes you have taken the intro lesson at least once. The class will vary in difficulty week to week, but mostly focuses on beginner or early intermediate level steps. If you have taken the intro lesson, you are fine to try this lesson!

8:30 PM - 11 PM - Social Dancing! - Included in your admission is free snacks. There is also a bar serving wine, beer, prosecco, and THC/CBD beverages.
