Quiet Mind, Open Talk: Asian Philosophy Exchange
Details
Pain is a wisdom of “letting go.” Much of the time, the reason we are tormented by pain is because we cannot let go. We cannot let go of beautiful memories from the past, cannot release our attachment to what was, cannot stop worrying about what is yet to come.
That heavy sense of being unable to let go of the past or see through the illusions of the future? You are not alone.
Our group is a sanctuary for those seeking to navigate the modern world with the "Sword" of Zen and the "Oar" of the Dao. We believe that spiritual practice isn't about escaping to a mountain; it’s about living more effectively, more resiliently, and more calmly right here in the worldly life.
We gather to explore three pillars:
- Kindred Spirits (知己): Nurturing each other through shared resonance.
- Elevated Vision (高人): Shifting our perspective to raise our energy frequency.
- The Classics (经典): Communing with ancient sages to realize universal truths.
For those drawn to the Tao, the Zen, and the classical texts that have guided humanity for millennia, we will discuss how to apply ancient wisdom to our daily lives and learn to live more peacefully.
The group is limited to 8 people each session to help build a deeper in person connection.
