QUEER CLT BOOK CLUB: SEPTEMBER

🏳️‍🌈Our book club for September is here, happy Latine Heritage Month! Taking place from September 15th-October 15th, we are honoring Latine histories & cultures through story. Queer CLT Book Club is celebrating Latine Heritage Month with reading Muñeca by Cynthia Gómez.

🥀Muñeca: A vivid, surreal Gothic about a queer, Latine, working class witch who sets out to rescue a bespelled heiress and loses control of her powers and her heart in the process.

📅Date: September 24th
🕰️Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm
🗝️ Location: Petty Thieves
📜RSVP on the Meetup App link in our bio.
🌈Our book club is discussion based, so we recommend reading before the meeting though finishing is NOT required! Bring your thoughts, questions, and love for queer lit!

🕯️🕯️Announcement🕯️🕯️
Dear Queer CLT Book Club members, we are saddened to announce September will be our last meet. The ghouls of House of Hemlock will be on a permeant hiatus as we rest and refocus.

When the time feels right, we will re-evaluate our future plans, as we always want this book club to be an intentional, meaningful experience.

The support and joy you have brought to this space means more than you know. Thank you for showing up time and time again- we truly couldn’t have asked for a better community! We are sending so much love and care to you all.

We will keep the discord open to keep the community connected.
