Welcome to the Mobility Meetup!
Whether you’re brand new or have been training for years, this session is for everyone. We’re focusing on the foundation that supports everything else in your movement practice: mobility, joint health, and injury prevention.
Exercise and daily life demand a lot from our bodies. Joint, muscle, and nerve pain are common. In this class, we’ll focus on key stretches and mobility drills to improve posture, decrease pain, and help our bodies heal.
We’ll dive into hip mobility and hamstring flexibility, which play a huge role in decreasing back pain and improving squat depth, L-sits, and overall control. Tight hips and hamstrings are common, especially if you sit a lot—so we’ll work to undo that.
One area that often gets overlooked? Spinal mobility, especially in the thoracic spine (upper back). It’s essential for handstands, bridges, and smooth overhead movement. Improving mobility here can unlock better form, reduce strain, and decrease pain from the “forward head posture” work oftenn puts us in.
This session is beginner-friendly and adaptable for all levels. Whether you’re working out at home, in a gym, or even on the road, you can join from anywhere. All you need is:
• A yoga mat or soft surface
• Water to stay hydrated
• A spot to place your phone where you can see the screen and move freely
This is a collaborative Zoom session—feel free to share insights, ask questions, and help each other grow. Let’s build stronger, more mobile bodies—together.
