Let's try out a hike that connects two parks! This hike will start at at the the parking lot at the James Boyce Park. We'll hike along the parameter for a bit, get on the greenway, and connect to McAlpine Creek Park, check out the ponds, and then loop back to James Boyce. AllTrails has us at 6.3mi, and with path deviations we should be around 6.5-7.5mi. With a casual hiking pace between 2-3mph, this will take about 2.5 hours, 3 to be safe.

We'll start promptly 5 minutes after the event begins, so please be on time. If I get a message from anyone that they're running behind, I'll hold the group back for an additional 5 minutes, but we're hitting the trail 10 minutes after in nearly all scenarios. If you don't see a dude with a red beard click on the link below for parking or the pin in the event page. These parks sometimes have multiple parking lots, and you've got to make sure you're using the actual pin, not the park name.
