Telling Stories for the Screen

This event sponsored by the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library in partnership with the Charlotte Unconventional Film School.

WHAT This one-day teaching by Rodney Stringfellow can also serve as a kick off for a library-sponsored adult writers’ group that is focused on screenwriting.

WHO Rodney currently teaches courses in screenwriting, film history and video production at UNC Charlotte. An educator and screenwriter, he has written episodes for Nickelodeon, PBS, Disney Channel and more. The course is designed to help you craft stories expressly for the screen. The workshop teaches story structure, screenplay formatting, idea development and what happens after you’ve finished your script.

HOW Rodney gives an excellent workshop and people love it and leave there feeling informed and inspired. This will be interesting to people of all writing backgrounds.

He's a super dynamic teacher. Please mark your calendar, RSVP here and come on out this day. Wherever you are in your journey as a writer, you will figure out some next steps.
