World Labyrinth Day Celebration Walk - May 6, 2023

Details
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE - We will meet at Sardis Baptist Church.
In celebration of World Labyrinth Day, we'll "walk as one at 1:00," as others around the world will be doing as well to create a 24-hour wave of peace worldwide. For more about World Labyrinth day: https://www.worldlabyrinthday.org
We'll walk the labyrinth at Sardis Baptist Church in Charlotte.
• The walk will be facilitated by Ed Gash, a fellow Veriditas-trained Labyrinth Facilitator and may be accompanied by Janet Hince, a talented harpist who is also a labyrinth facilitator. I'll be walking along with the group.
• There's ample parking in the lot right near the labyrinth.
• The walk itself should take up to an hour, with a few minutes of conversation before and after we walk. Timing is dependent on group size and participation level, so plan on about 1 1/2 hours.
• If you're new to labyrinths, here's a great place to start learning: http://www.veriditas.org/New-to-the-Labyrinth
• If you'd like to learn more about your host, here's an article from the October 2016 edition of Natural Awakenings: http://awakeningcharlotte.com/wp-content/issues/201610.pdf#view=Fit
• Each labyrinth walk is different, not only in location. I'll add a few new elements and questions here and there, mixing things up a bit, and doing what feels right in the moment, for the people who are present.
• If you won't be able to attend, please be sure to change your RSVP to "no" so others on the waiting list will be able to come.
See you on the path...
Christina
