Now in its second year, I Am Your Neighbor is the signature fundraising event for Refugee Support Services (RSS). This unforgettable evening brings together neighbors from across Charlotte to celebrate the culture, creativity, and resilience of our city’s refugee community.

This year’s theme—“Threads of the World: A Journey Through Culture and Craft”—spotlights the beauty of global textiles and fashion while highlighting the stories, artistry, and traditions of refugees who now call Charlotte home.

All proceeds from the event support vital RSS programs that help newcomers build stability, connection, and belonging.
