The reason I'm starting this group is because I went to a inpatient hospital that specialized in headache disorders. While I didn't get any help or relief from my chronic headache, something I did find was comfort and solace in being around others who know the struggles of living with pain and the many troubles that come with it. I certainly don't have to list them all here because we all have them and they are universal. It was wonderful enjoying the company and doing things with others that don't expect things of you because they understand and have truly walked in your shoes. I don't know where this group will take me and what plans I have for this group but my hope is that others like me can find friendship and support through low key hang outs. Keep it real and be kind.
