Charlotte Outdoor Adventures Meetup

Having traveled to 84 countries and hiked in most of them, I organize this group for fun for all.  My name is Ron Virmani.  I am a part time physician, fond of hiking and travel.  I have hiked up Mt. Fuji in Japan, climbed the Great Wall of China, climbed 3 fourteeners in Colorado ( - Pike's Peak, Mt. Elbert, Mt. Bierstadt), Mt Mitchel, Mt Washington, Half dome etc.

Yes, I personally pay meet up website for maintaining this group ($180 per year).  So far, I have kept the membership free for anybody to join so people can enjoy the nature and camaraderie. I do suggest if you sign up for an activity such as a hike, please consider bringing a couple of dollars in cash as voluntary contribution so the group can at least partially meet the operating expenses. I do not make money on this.

This is a group for open-minded individuals who are from different walks of life and wish to experience togetherness through different social and physical activities.  We like to hike, kayak, rock climb, eat out, go to the theater, etc. 
By becoming a member of the group, you agree that you are solely responsible for all the activities you participate in.  
We welcome and invite others to add to the group with all their experiences and quest for life by suggesting or adding meetups. If you want to organize or lead an event, please let me know.
