Fast Hike @ LakeNorman State Park & Lunch@Eddies [Host: Maria]

This will be above average speed hike and not a slow walk. Dont miss, we do this only 2-3 times a year.

We will hike the Lake Shore Trail which is just over 3 miles long to the shot cut trail, leading back to the parking lot.
If hiking the whole trail, all 6 miles is something that you would rather do than that is an option. For now let is do a fast speed 3 mile hike.
Because of COVID, we will keep 3 feet between each other.

MEET IN THE FIRST FEW PARKING SPOTS ON SHORTLEAF DRIVE .

We will start the hike on time, so please arrive early. The park has a full time staff of park rangers so follow all speed limits.
Will be hiking above avg/2.5 mph speed with minimal breaks about every mile or so.
Dogs are welcome to attend, but must remain on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Humans can run wild. **Remember to bring water for your pets also.

We will not check texts after we start the hike so text prior. There may not be reception in the area so call 30 mins prior. Joint effort with other 2 groups.
