Outlining Achievable Goals and Expectations

This will be our inaugural meeting to discuss what our mission is and to set achievable goals and expectations. I have created an agenda below that will allow us to get to know each other better, identify areas of focus, establish committees and leadership roles, as well as actionable items, in order to build a strong foundation of support.

Introduction: Be able to discuss why you are here and your biggest concerns for your children's financial future and what you want to get from being in this group.

Overview: I will provide a general overview of some of the challenges parents are facing today in regards to having to support adult children, how it can erode their own financial future i.e. retirement, downsizing, etc..

Mission Statement: Collaborate, discuss, and establish our mission Statement.

Setting Goals: Create a list of achievable long term goals. We will focus on short term goals if time permits.

Committee Ideas: Come up with committees to help achieve specific goals established and who will chair these committees.

Wrap Up: Identify topics of discussion for our next meeting
