This group is about more than just Mahjong. It’s a place to meet neighbors, make new friends, enjoy good conversation, and have fun around the Mahjong table.
Whether you’ve been playing for years or are relatively new to the game, we’d love to have you join us.
🀄 What to Expect
Our gatherings are casual, friendly, and social. We’ll get together at local cafés, restaurants, and other community spots around Pineville and South Charlotte to play American Mahjong and enjoy each other’s company.

🌱 Newer Players Are Welcome
You don't have to be an expert to join us. If you understand the basics but are still learning, that's perfectly fine. We want this to be a supportive environment where players can improve through practice and help each other along the way.
For scheduled games, please check the individual event description to see whether the session is appropriate for complete beginners or requires basic knowledge of American Mahjong.

Mahjong Card.
If you have an American Mahjong set, please bring it—we can always use additional sets!
Please also remember to bring your current American Mahjong card when an event requires one.
Don't have a set? That's okay. Check the event details, as extra sets may be available.

This is social Mahjong, not serious competition.
We welcome friendly players who are patient, respectful, and willing to help create a comfortable environment for everyone at the table.
You don't have live in Pineville to join us but we will mainly meet in Pineville.
No pressure. No drama. No need to be perfect.
Just good games, good conversation, and good people.
