Charlotte Singles Golf Association (CSGA) is a chapter of American Singles Golf Association (ASGA). We welcome all golfers whose marital status is single (as in NOT married). Members of CSGA enjoy all of the benefits of membership in ASGA. (See below.)
We are all about golf, fun, meeting new singles, and definitely enjoying the 19th hole. Ours is a social brand of golf, but we have a competitive streak, too. We are best suited to golfers who have some experience, know golf etiquette, and keep up the pace of play.
Tuesday golf is scheduled for those who enjoy the luxury of weekday golf. Tuesday golf is followed by late lunch at a local restaurant. Saturday golf is scheduled once a month at courses with reasonable weekend golf rates. From April to October, Nine & Dine is scheduled on Wednesday early evening. The group plays nine holes followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant. On the social side, we gather for dinner on the third Thursday of the month (Third Thirsty Thursday or TTT) at local restaurants. This allows members to meet in a social setting off the golf course and enjoy interesting dining experiences. A new adventure in 2023 is Dive Bar Monday. This is an occasional event where the venue is casual. While still in the planning phase, we will visit restaurants and establishments with indoor activities such as darts and billiards, etc. More to come!
As a Chapter of American Singles Golf Association (ASGA), we enjoy the benefits of this national golf group including events scheduled at top golf venues worldwide (www.singlesgolf.com). Our sister Chapter, ASGA Pinehurst, regularly invites CSGA to play the great courses in the Pinehurst area typically at reduced rates.
Non-members can play with the group as a guest one time before joining. Our annual (i.e., calendar year) membership fee for 2024 is $15.

We shall be joined by the Charlotte Chapter and the DC ChapterASGA Pinehurst is organizing this event with a group from Washington, DC. Here is the information available at this time:
We have reserved 3 condos, sleeping 4 each, for the 21st and 22nd of July. We anticipate 12 players but may have more, or less. We should be able to adjust, adding a lodge room or deleting a condo and/or adding a lodge room.
We have 3 tee times - 11:30, 11:40 and 11:50 on the Devil's Knob course for Tuesday. Additionally, we have 3 more on the Stoney Creek course for Wednesday - 10:50, 11:00 and 11:10.
Usually, we stop on the way up, in Mt. Airy, NC, and play a pleasant little course, Cross Creek (and you do, often).Two nights and two rounds of golf at Wintergreen for the $320.67 per person. A deposit of $100 will be sent to Mike Young.
